Little Woodrow's Opening Location in Cedar Park, TX

Little Woodrow’s, a Houston-based chain of neighborhood sports bars, may open a location in Cedar Park.

The bar, which has six locations in the Austin area and 23 across Texas, could be headed to 401 E. Whitestone Blvd. suite 100, according to a June 16 filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Wild West Cedar Park, a Western-themed night club, is the current tenant in that location.

Little Woodrow's, which operates under LW Brands LLC, can be found in a variety of locales, from the hustle and bustle of Sixth Street to suburban spots such as the Millwood area of Northwest Austin and Bee Cave. In addition to alcohol, Little Woodrow’s often has bar food such as wings, nachos and burgers — or hosts food trucks.

Bob Wilson, president of Little Woodrow's, declined to comment at this time.

The TDLR filing indicates the new Little Woodrow’s would be roughly 11,000 square feet, with a remodel of the existing nightclub space, adding an interior bar, new commercial kitchen, new entry and an outdoor bar. Renovations are estimated to cost $1 million. Renovations are slated to begin in August and be completed in December, according to the TDLR filing. Such filings are often preliminary and subject to change.

The 6.6-acre property is owned by ECM-Depot LLC and was valued at nearly $6.2 million this year, according to Williamson Central Appraisal District records.

If it lands on Whitestone Boulevard, Little Woodrow's would join one of the busiest streets in Cedar Park, already home to Whitestone Brewery as well as an H-E-B and restaurants such as Lucy’s Fried Chicken and Blue Corn Harvest.

It would be the seventh Little Woodrow's in the Austin area, joining ones like this on West Sixth Street.
