HTeaO and Professional Golfer Ryan Palmer Team Up on Breast Cancer Awareness

HTeaO, the iced-tea franchise phenomenon based in Fort Worth, has announced the kickoff of its annual partnership with the Ryan Palmer Breast Cancer Awareness Initiative for October.

During the month of October, every HTeaO customer will have the opportunity to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar, with the donation going toward the Ryan Palmer Breast Cancer Initiative and the creation of Hope Kits. These kits are presented to breast cancer patients who are undergoing treatment and are used to help boost their spirits.

"Our partnership with Ryan Palmer is all about giving that extra bit of hope to those who are going through chemotherapy for their breast cancer," said Justin Howe, CEO of HTeaO. "We are excited to be able to partner with Ryan again this year to try and raise more money during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Our continued relationship with the foundation and all the work our employees do to garner donations to go towards this great cause is perfectly aligned with our values and we look forward to continuing this partnership for years to come."

The partnership with Palmer, a PGA Tour player originally from Amarillo but who lives now in the Fort Worth area, is going on now three years.

HTeaO is also bringing back pink straws for breast cancer awareness month. In 2022, HTeaO raised more than $70,700 for the Ryan Palmer Breast Cancer Awareness Initiative.

Amarillo is the birthplace of HTeaO. Palmer and Howe have been close friends for several years.

Palmer turned professional in 2000 and earned his PGA Tour card in 2004. He has four PGA Tour wins. HTeaO sells a “Ryan Palmer,” a spin-off of the better-known “Arnold Palmer” but with HTeaO’s sweet regular tea mixed with yellow lemonade.

The Ryan Palmer Foundation ( https://ryanpalmerfoundation.org/) was created in 2003 with the goal of providing opportunities to young people. In the aftermath of his wife’s bout with breast cancer, Palmer started the Breast Cancer Initiative in 2019.
